CSA Pick-Your-Own-Flowers

Description

Available only as an add-on option for CSA members.

PYOF shareholders will pick a bouquet of an established size. In the field you will find many lovely blooms for your bouquets throughout the season, including zinnias, rudbeckia, sweet william, gomphrena, salvia, celosia, dahlias, and ornamental amaranths and grasses! Water and scissors will be available in the fields.

The quantities and variety available each week will be dependent on weather and field conditions. Please note that our Fall PYO continues for as long as the flowers are plentiful enough to support harvesting by our members--this will not be the entire duration of fall distribution. An early frost could cause PYO to end abruptly.

Checking registration status.

Instructions

A sample bouquet will be available to indicate size and variety to be picked. Please note that the PYOF happens rain or shine and during high heat days. Please plan accordingly for the additional elements and walk to the fields for your PYOF. Water, scissors, and rubber bands will be available, but if you want a container to transport the bouquet, please bring it with you. PYOF happens on the same day and during the same hours (12:00-6:00pm) as the Drumlin Farm CSA pick-up.
