Description
How do our local birds who stick around for the winter stay warm? Find out by getting an up-close introduction to one of our wildlife ambassador songbirds and learn about the ways birds have adapted to thrive during the colder months. Then, get crafty and make a simple bird feeder to take home that will help feathered friends in your own backyard. Finally, head out on a short, guided walk around the sanctuary to search for winter birds and listen for their calls. This fun, hands-on nature adventure is a perfect opportunity to introduce your young one to the vibrant world of birds!
