Description
Join us for a Beaver Moon cycle walk with Waban Webquish, Wampanoag-Nipmuc naturalist and wildlife photographer. Experience firsthand the signs of seasonal shift and learn more about the indigenous cyclical calendar. Stay alert for signs of deer (ahtuk) activity and learn how the length of daylight impacts their breeding. Be on the lookout for critters filling their cache of food for the winter. Discuss the wild game typically foraged by indigenous peoples around this time.
