Description
Insects make up the overwhelming majority of animal life on Earth, yet most of us walk right past them. Find out why these tiny creatures run the world on a summer walk around the sanctuary, when insect activity is at its peak.
Witness the essential roles they play in a healthy ecosystem; from pollination to seed dispersal, nutrient cycling, pest control, soil health, and creating food for other wildlife. Sharpen your identification skills in the field and begin to see the hidden life that's always been right in front of you.
