Moth Ball

Description

Moths might look like the frumpier cousin of butterflies, but they're far more beautiful and important than most people realize. As night settles in and the moths come out, learn about their life cycles, diets, and behaviors. Then, head out to see what moths were collected in the light traps.

Identify the moths that flocked to the light and document your findings, gaining a deeper appreciation for the special role moths play in our ecosystem. Round out the evening with a moth-inspired craft to get you inspired long after you return home.
