Family Owl Prowl

Description

As the sun goes down, Broadmoor comes alive with a different set of residents—and owls are among the most spectacular. Begin outside the Nature Center by examining real owl wings, skulls, talons, and feathers to discover the remarkable adaptations that make these birds master hunters in the dark.

Then, head out into the fields and forests at dusk, listening and watching for Eastern Screech-owls, Barred Owls, and Great Horned Owls as they begin their evening hunt. A naturalist will guide you every step of the way, sharing owl calls, behaviors, and the best tricks for spotting them in the trees.

Checking registration status.
