Description
Discovers the wonders of water. Review the water cycle and the watershed before heading out onto the sanctuary to observe a wetland, a pond, and a brook. Discuss water runoff and how that impacts the surrounding area as well as the plants and animals that exist there. Create your own watershed scenarios with the group and observe the effects of runoff created in various situations.
This program builds upon last month's watershed program but can also be taken separately.
