A Nature Year at Broad Meadow Brook - Winter Series

Immerse yourself in a winter of local natural history. With a skilled Mass Audubon naturalist as your guide, experience the cycle of the seasons at Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary and gain extensive natural history knowledge-all while receiving the many benefits of spending time outdoors. Each month, you will focus on a special topic, natural community, or seasonal phenomenon. As the temperatures drop, explore wildlife tracking, owls, and mammals.

Here is what we have planned. There might be an occasional change in timing or topic depending on what nature provides.
December 13, 10:00 am-12:00 pm - Wildlife Tracking
January 10, 5:00-7:00pm - Owls
February 14 , 10:00 am-12:00 pm - Mammals
We will usually start inside with an introduction and overview of topics and then head out for our adventure in the field which will be at least 90 minutes outside. We'll travel mainly on trails, actively exploring and experiencing various habitats and sanctuary spots.
Register for the winter, 3 monthly sessions - December, January, and February for $54/members, $60/nonmembers
