Homeschool in Nature: Turtles

Description

Broad Meadow Brook's homeschool program brings learning to life in a cooperative, curiosity-driven setting for school-aged children.

In March, we'll focus on turtles, looking at how they get through the winter, what they need from the ponds and wetlands around the sanctuary, and where to watch for them once the water warms.

Your child will build observation skills through outdoor exploration, games, and activities designed to make big scientific ideas stick. Our instructors use the sanctuary itself as the classroom, helping young learners develop real knowledge and a sense of belonging in nature.
