Winter Adaptations Guided Hike

Description

Broad Meadow Brook wildlife sanctuary offers many signs of winter survival strategies waiting to be discovered on the trail. Walk with our expert naturalist as they interpret what's happening with local plants and trees, spot signs of wildlife activity, and explain how living things get through the cold.

This relaxed, enriching outing gives your family a chance to slow down and notice the natural world together, making memories that last through the season. Come ready to explore and leave with a deeper connection to this special place.

What To Expect

The trail is mostly flat with one moderate hill near the end of the hike on the return to the Visitor Center. Trails may be icy or snow covered in January.
