Family Owl Prowl

Description

Are owls really wise? How do they fly so silently? Can they really turn their heads all the way around?

Find out on an early-evening walk for families: get to know the adaptations that make owls such effective night hunters, practice a few calls of your own, then head out on the sanctuary trails to listen and look for signs of owls and other nocturnal wildlife.

Experiencing Broad Meadow Brook after dark is its own reward, and the more you know about owls, the better you can help protect them and the habitats they need.

Checking registration status.
