A Nature Year at Broad Meadow Brook - Summer Series (3 Months)
Description
Immerse yourself in a summer of local natural history. With a skilled Mass Audubon naturalist as your guide, experience the cycle of the seasons at Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary. Gain extensive natural history knowledge, form community with like-minded, curious adults, and receive the many benefits of spending time outdoors.
Throughout the summer we will explore the fields to learn about butterflies and insects and witness the migration of the Common Nighthawk.
Schedule:
June 13, 10:00am-12:00pm: Butterflies
July 11, 10:00am-12:00pm: Insects
August 26, 6:30-8:30pm - Common Nighthawk
Most sessions will meet the second Saturday of each month from 10 am to noon. The August session will meet in the evening on Wednesday, August 26.

Instructions
We will usually start inside with an introduction and overview of topics and then head out for our adventure in the field which will be at least 90 minutes outside. We'll travel mainly on trails, actively exploring and experiencing various habitats and sanctuary spots.
