Description
We will explore the amazing Squantum Point Park in Quincy for winter birds! Especially of interest will be winter ducks such as Scoters, Long-Tailed Ducks, etc. There is potential for other winter specialties such as Common Redpoll, Pine Siskin, and many more. This small park is a top eBird hotspot for a reason! There are several habitats rolled into one, so the bird diversity is quite high for such a small area. The main loop is paved, with side trails that are unpaved. All of them are flat and easy to walk.

Instructions
We will park at the LEFT side entrance of the large parking lot off of Miwra Haul Rd. Do not be concerned if parts of the lot are closed with orange cones, the police frequently use the parking lot for training exercises. Dress warmly and bring binoculars!
The trails don't get plowed in the winter, so I'll keep an eye out for the weather around the walks and remind folks to wear appropriate footwear (boots, ice grippers).
