Fall Bird walk at Stony Brook Reservation

Description

Explore a unique urban habitat that draws an incredible variety of resident and migratory birds during the fall season.

A teacher naturalist will lead the way, helping spot and identify birds by their field marks, calls, and behaviors. Whether you're just starting out or have years of birding experience, these guided walks offer something for everyone.

The paved trail is about 1.2 miles long, mostly flat, and easy to moderate in difficulty-perfect for a relaxed morning of birdwatching.
