A Nature Year at Boston Nature Center - Fall Series
Description
Immerse yourself in local natural history this fall. With a skilled Mass Audubon naturalist as your guide, experience the cycle of the season at Boston Nature Center and gain extensive natural history knowledge-all while receiving the many benefits of spending time outdoors. Each month, you will focus on a special topic, natural community, or seasonal phenomenon. In autumn, learn about pond communities, autumn leaves, and seeds.

We will meet the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10am to noon, September 2025 -November 2025.
Here is what we have planned. There might be an occasional change in timing or topic depending on what nature provides.
September 13, 10am-noon: Urban Orchard - Seeds and fruits
October 11, 10am-noon: Pond Exploration (Walk 15-20 minutes to Forest Hills Cemetery)
November 8, 10am-noon: Autumn Leaves
