Description
Sweeten your wild herbal tea brew with maple syrup and get a look behind this annual tradition. Learn how to tap a maple tree on the sanctuary grounds, collect the sap, and boil it down into syrup for a sweet treat. Along the way, you will learn to tell maple species apart and hear how different communities in Massachusetts and around the world have used trees as medicine.
To finish, brew a White Pine tea to sweeten with pure maple syrup.
Come away with a new appreciation for the trees on your own street.
