Read the Snow: Animal Tracking for Beginners

Description

Step into the role of nature investigator and search the Boston Nature Center's winter landscape for the tracks, scratches, and signs animals leave behind.

Every clue tells a story about where an animal traveled, what it was doing, and how it is surviving the season. A naturalist will help you read those signs, identify which creatures stay active through the cold, and understand the adaptations that make it possible.

From footprints in fresh snow to telltale marks on bark, you will start seeing the sanctuary as a living record of what animals share the trails with us.
