Description
Look for late fall birds at Fowl Meadows with an experienced Mass Audubon guide. Together, we'll walk the Burma Road trail scanning the sky and tree lines for Bald Eagles, Red-shouldered Hawks, and Rusty Blackbirds, and checking the woodland edges for Redpolls, Pine Siskins, and American Tree Sparrows.
The route covers approximately 2 miles of flat, easy-to-navigate dirt path, with only a small bridge near the trailhead requiring careful footing. Whether you're building your life list or just getting started, late November at Fowl Meadows rarely disappoints.
