Description
Walk the same trails that Transcendentalist thinkers and Civil War soldiers once traveled, now busy with late fall migrants on their way south. Brook Farm, a National Historic Site in West Roxbury, offers approximately 2 miles of mostly flat, wooded terrain that draws a diverse mix of birds each fall.
A Boston Nature Center naturalist will guide you through the woods and wetlands, pointing out warblers, songbirds, and waterbirds while teaching you to identify them by sight and sound. Don't miss this unique walk where the natural and human histories of the land are equally compelling.

Meet at the Baker Street motor entrance to Gardens Cemetery, 670 Baker Street, West Roxbury. Staff will direct you to designated parking. Please do not park in the cemetery roadway or in front of the administrative offices. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring a water bottle.
