A Botany Year at Boston Nature Center: Fall
Description
The Massachusetts botanical world in fall is marked by striking specimens and dramatic changes. This three-month series at Boston Nature Center opens with milkweed anatomy, capturing this plant so essential to Monarch life through hands-on observation drawing.
Then, we'll investigate fall seeds and dispersal strategies before closing with an exploration of our iconic local autumn leaves. Each session begins indoors before heading outside for at least 90 minutes of fieldwork on the sanctuary's trails, building real observation skills and connecting you with a community of curious fellow learners.
