Description
Immerse yourself in a full year of local natural history. Over 12 monthly Saturday sessions at Boston Nature Center and select nearby sites, a skilled Mass Audubon naturalist guides you through the full seasonal cycle: hawk migration, pond ecology, animal tracking, maple sugaring, vernal pools, bird migration, pollinators, and more.
Each session begins with a brief indoor introduction before heading out for at least 90 minutes outdoors, exploring trails and habitats with a community of curious adults who share your love of the natural world. It's a rare opportunity to build real natural history knowledge across all four seasons—and to deepen your connection to the Boston Nature Center.

Participants will travel mainly on trails and boardwalks through a variety of habitats. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
Ample parking, bathrooms, and a water bottle filling station available.
