Description
Boston Nature Center sits on land that has been foraged, farmed, and tended by generations of people, including Indigenous communities, farmers, hospital residents, community gardeners, and more. Here's your chance to connect with that living tradition and create a tasty treat to take home.
Walk the trails and forage edible plants, berries, and herbs from the Clark-Cooper Community Garden and the Boston Food Forest, learning to identify what's growing and how to harvest responsibly. Back inside, use what you've gathered to make an herbal jam to take home.
This hands-on, grounding experience ties plant knowledge, local ecology, and community history into a single afternoon of creation.
