Description
Every fall, monarch butterflies set off on one of the most remarkable journeys in the natural world—thousands of miles from Massachusetts to Mexico, guided entirely by instinct. At the Boston Nature Center, catch them mid-journey on this guided trail walk, nets in hand, to carefully observe monarchs up close before releasing them back into the wild.
Along the way, learn about the monarch's complete life cycle, the essential role of milkweed in their survival, and how pollinator gardens and citizen science monitoring can help protect them. It's an unforgettable afternoon with one of nature's most iconic travelers.
