Description
There's something deeply satisfying about brewing a cup of tea from plants you've gathered yourself. Begin with a walk through Boston Nature Center, foraging flowers, berries, and herbs from the Boston Food Forest and Clark-Cooper Community Garden—land that has been stewarded and foraged by Indigenous communities, farmers, and Mattapan community gardeners for generations.
Back inside, you'll blend and brew a variety of herbal teas, learning about the botanical properties of each ingredient along the way. This grounding, sensory experience connects participants to local ecology and the rich human history of this remarkable piece of land.
