Description
At low tide, Wollaston Beach reveals a world most people walk right past. On this spring or summer morning or evening outing, explore more than two miles of shoreline and venture into the protected tidal inlet of Blacks Creek, searching for crabs, snails, shells, driftwood, and the remarkable creatures adapted to life between the tides.
A Boston Nature Center naturalist will guide you through what you find, connecting the intertidal zone to bigger conversations about climate change and its impact on our coastline. With long summer daylight and cool sea air, it's a perfect way to spend an early evening by the water.
