Urban Bird Celebration

Description

Step outside and discover the wild world hiding in plain sight. This urban birding experience invites you to slow down, tune in, and see your city through entirely new eyes.

Wind your way along the trails and explore a series of educational stations, each designed to deepen your connection with the birds all around you. Learn to identify species by their songs alone at the birding by ear station, discover what feathered visitors are drawn to your own backyard at our bird-feeder birding stop, venture out on a guided bird hike, or settle in at our birding in place station and see just how much wildlife passes through a single spot when you take the time to watch. Try out scopes and binoculars for yourself — there's nothing quite like that first crisp close-up of a bird you've walked past a hundred times.

Drop in friendly. Once you are registered you can come and go as you please!
