A Nature Year at Boston Nature Center Wildlife Sanctuary: Spring (3 months)
Description
Immerse yourself in a season of local natural history. With a skilled Mass Audubon naturalist as your guide, experience the cycle of the seasons at Boston Nature Center Wildlife Sanctuary. Gain extensive natural history knowledge, form community with like-minded, curious adults, and recieve the many benefits of spending time outdoors.
Throughout the spring, we'll search for signs of spring, forage for wild edibles, and observe bird migration.
We will meet the 2nd Saturday of each month, March 2026 through May 2026.
Subject to change in timing or topic, depending on what nature provides.

- April 11, 10:00am-12:00pm: Wild Edibles and Medicinal Plants
- May 9, 8:00am-10:00am: Bird Migration

Instructions
We will usually start inside with an introduction and then head out for our adventure in the field which will be at least 90 minutes outside. We'll travel mainly on trails, actively exploring and experiencing various habitats and sanctuary spots.
