Description
Begin with gentle yoga stretches that ground you in your body and prepare you for deeper awareness as you move through the natural world. You'll then walk the forest trails with heightened attention, engaging your senses through activities designed to bring you fully into the present moment and connect you with the landscape around you.
As you explore the diverse habitats at the BNC, you'll learn to observe wildlife and plants with a contemplative eye, discovering what makes each ecosystem unique through mindful observation rather than hurried identification. This practice cultivates both botanical knowledge and a profound sense of presence, allowing you to experience the forest as a living, breathing community. You'll leave with practical mindfulness techniques you can apply to any outdoor experience and a renewed appreciation for the intricate beauty of the natural environments in your own backyard.
