Spring Nature Walk

Description

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a guided nature walk through the beautiful Blue Hills. With our knowledgeable educator, learn about the sights and sounds of the spring forest such as singing birds and sprouting skunk cabbage. Insects take to the wing again and amphibians return to their breeding grounds. Dive deep into all those natural wonders and everything else spring has to offer.

Instructions

Participants will meet in front of the Blue Hills Trailside Museum, 1904 Canton Ave, Milton, MA 02186.

The full program will take place outside but museum admission is included in the program fee and participants are welcome to explore the museum after the program has ended.

Dress appropriately for the weather and prepare for approximately a 1.5 mile walk. The trail we are taking is mostly flat and not very steep but there may be areas of uneven terrain. There is a good chance the trails will be muddy, too.
