Description
Winter forests hold secrets waiting to be read. What appears quiet at first glance reveals itself as a landscape alive with stories, tracks pressed into snow, claw marks etched in bark, nibbled pinecones scattered beneath trees, and scat that tells tales of midnight feasts.
Take a guided hike in the Blue Hills and learn about tracks, scat, and other signs of animals. With this knowledge in your toolbelt, even the quietest walk in the woods can be full of wildlife.
