Step into the world of tiny creatures on a guided nature walk through the Blue Hills. Discover the hidden lives of insects, arachnids, and other invertebrates that thrive in the fall. Search for seasonal favorites like migrating Monarch butterflies, and uncover the fascinating stories of the overlooked bugs beneath your feet and fluttering through the trees. Perfect for curious explorers of all ages!

Instructions

Participants will meet outside, in front of the Trailside Museum, located at Blue Hills Trailside Museum, 1904 Canton Ave, Milton, MA 02186.

The full program will take place outside, but museum admission is included in the program fee. Participants are welcome to explore the museum after the program has ended.

Dress appropriately for the weather and prepare for a short walk. The trails can be steeper and have uneven terrain at parts, but we will not be going far. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program.
