Weekends at Trailside: Birds of Prey

Description

Discover the powerful world of birds of prey soaring above and perched all around us. Through fun games and interactive activities, learn what makes raptors like hawks, owls, and falcons such skilled hunters. Then, meet one of these incredible birds up close during a special live animal encounter! This hands-on adventure will spark curiosity and awe for the feathered predators that rule the skies.

Instructions

Please meet in the Blue Hills Trailside Auditorium at the start of the program, located at Blue Hills Trailside Museum, 1904 Canton Ave, Milton, MA 02186.

Just in case we go outdoors during the activity, please dress appropriately for a hike and make sure to bring water. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program.

Museum admission is included in the program fee. Participants are welcome to explore the museum after the program has ended.
