On this guided nature hike, explore how local plants and animals adapt to rising temperatures, from clever cooling tricks to seasonal habits and shifting activity patterns. Along the way, we'll dive into how warmer summers are reshaping our ecosystems and what that means for the life around us. Curious minds of all ages welcome for this eye-opening walk through the sun-soaked landscape.

Instructions

Participants will meet outside, in front of the Trailside Museum, located at Blue Hills Trailside Museum, 1904 Canton Ave, Milton, MA 02186. We will learn on the trail.

Dress appropriately for a hike and make sure to bring water. Trails are medium grade and can have parts that are steeper or have uneven terrain.
