Early Morning Owl Prowl

Description

Owls are quite vocal in early January, and hiking the peaceful trails in the Blue Hills just before dawn is a great way to hear them.

Set out with a naturalist for a peaceful walk in the dark stillness of early morning, listening for calling owls and learning how they hunt and stay fed through the coldest weeks of the year. Back inside, warm up with refreshments, meet a few of the owls who live at the museum, and hear what helps wild owls thrive here.

The early morning rise will award those willing to set the alarm clock, kicking off the new year with new perspectives.

Checking registration status.
