A Nature Year at Trailside Museum: Winter (3 Months)
Description
Explore local natural phenomena on this deep dive into the best of winter.
December opens with an evening of owls, exploring their behaviors, calls, and adaptations to the coldest months. In January, we'll study winter botany, reading the clues that only dormant trees share. In February, search for wildlife tracks and traces to find out who's been on the move, even in the colder months.
Led by expert naturalists, each session begins with a brief introduction indoors before heading out for at least 90 minutes of active exploration.
