Description
On this guided walk, our naturalist leads you through the trails surrounding Blue Hills Trailside Museum, helping everyone find and identify what we see and hear while sharing the ecology and conservation needs of local birds.
Familiar favorites like Pileated Woodpecker, Brown Creeper, and Northern Cardinals can be found year-round in addition to the wide variety of seasonal specialties. Fall migration brings migratory birds, such as warblers and hawks, passing through Massachusetts on their way South.
All levels welcome.

Instructions
Meet outside in front of the Blue Hills Trailside Museum. The full program takes place outdoors. Museum admission is included; feel free to explore inside after the walk. Bathrooms and water bottle filling station available.
Please dress for the weather and be prepared for a 1 to 1.5 mile hike on mostly flat trail, with some sections of uneven terrain. Bring binoculars if you have them.
