A Nature Year at Trailside Museum & Chickatawbut Hill: Fall
Description
Three sessions, three distinct angles on fall in the Blue Hills. September opens at the Trailside Museum with fall migration in full swing—both birds and Monarch Butterflies are moving south. In October we'll move to Chickatawbut Hill to immerse ourselves with the fall forest, as shifting colors and behavior of the woodland ecosystem is at its peak. November returns to the hill to explore what endures through every season: the rocks and glacial landscape that shaped everything above and below them. Led by expert naturalists, each session begins inside with a brief introduction before heading out for at least 90 minutes of active exploration.
