Boston Skyline & Fall Wildlife atop Chickatawbut Hill

Description

This fall 3-mile hike offers something families rarely get: access to a spectacular hilltop with views of the Boston skyline, led by naturalists who know every inch of the terrain.

While not normally open to the public, we'll gain access to the Norman Smith Environmental Education Center observation tower atop Chickatawbut Hill for fantastic views and potential wildlife sightings. And, we'll explore early fall at Blue Hills Reservation through log flipping, wildlife watching, and shifting season observations.

Expect up to 3 miles of walking on trails that can be steep and rocky at times.

Checking registration status.
