Description
The Blue Hills Reservation looks and sounds completely different after the sun starts to drop. This family evening hike gives you a peek into the hidden world in a safe, engaging setting.
Led by our experienced naturalists, you'll head into the reservation trails to flip logs, investigate insects, explore the trees, and discover what shifts in the ecosystem as evening settles in.
By learning more about the unseen world, you'll grow your connection to nature and the mysteries it holds together.

Meet by the black gate in front of the Blue Hills Trailside Museum. The museum will be closed. Bring your own water. Wear closed-toe shoes and prepare for some steeper, unpaved trail sections. The hike covers potentially up to 2 miles. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program.
