Description
Mid-May is the peak of spring migration! Celebrate the season with an accessible birding adventure around the grounds of the Blue Hills Trailside Museum with our knowledgeable educator. We will look and listen for birds by the pond, the hummingbird feeder, and around the grounds as you also meet the birds that live on exhibit at the museum.
Our route will be a quarter of a mile in total, covering the grounds of the museum which is one of Mass Audubon's universally accessible All Persons Trails. The grounds are surfaced with packed gravel or pavement and all stairs can be avoided.
Hone your bird identification skills and learn all about their ecology and what we can all do to help conserve their populations. At the end of the program you will even get to meet one of our animal ambassadors up close! This program is perfect for birders of all levels and abilities.
