Owl Moon: An Evening Adventure

Description

Watch a magical shadow puppet performance of Jane Yolen's classic picture book Owl Moon and learn about the seven owl species that call Massachusetts home.

Before the show, dissect an owl pellet to find out what owls really eat, stretch your arms to compare your wingspan to a local owl's wingspan, and make an owl craft to take home. Afterward, bundle up for a walk through the brisk winter woods to call for owls. We cannot promise that one will answer, but listening for them in the dark is an adventure all its own.

Head back inside at the end of the evening to warm up with a cup of hot cocoa.

Checking registration status.
