A Birding Year at Arcadia: Spring

Description

Bird our favorite spring phenomena over three months with skilled naturalists as your guide. March opens at dusk with American Woodcocks and their spiraling courtship flights. April moves to birding by ear, where you'll learn to name the birds around you by song alone. May finishes with warblers, the jewels of the forest, passing through in full color.

Each session begins inside before heading out for about 90 minutes of active birding on Arcadia's trails. Strengthen your birding skills, meet other birders, and learn more about bird conservation work happening at the sanctuary and beyond.
