A Nature Year at Arcadia: Winter (3 Months)

Description

Three sessions, three defining chapters of winter, one series that covers them all. In December, you'll explore winter bird feeders and the birds that depend on them through the season. January brings us to the trails for winter tracking, reading the quiet evidence animals leave behind in snow and mud. February wraps with a focus on winter raptors and other cold-season birds, including horned larks and snow buntings.

Led by our skilled naturalists, each session begins inside with a short introduction before spending about 90 minutes actively exploring the sanctuary trails and habitats. Embrace local natural history unique to winter in this seasonal deep dive.
