Saturday mornings at the Arcadia Art House are for families looking to slow down, spend time together, and create something beautiful.
Render the woods around you through art! Observe and capture the natural beauty of the outdoor areas surrounding the Art House. Focus on the gentle movement of leaves in the trees, the organic shapes of plants and shrubs, a single branch, or an entire woodland scene. Slow down, look closely, and connect with nature through art while sharpening your observation skills and enjoying the process. Learn simple techniques to help you get started and gain confidence as you create your own interpretation of the landscape. Ideal for artists of all ages and skill levels.
Consider arriving early or staying after the program for a self-guided walk through the sanctuary searching for the seasonal wonders of the moment: bird songs, animal tracks, new buds, and whatever else the morning offers.

Meet at the Arcadia Visitor Center for check-in and directions to the Art House. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program.
