Description
Arcadia Marsh is one of the most wildlife-rich stretches of water in the Connecticut River Valley, making for an unforgettable experience when exploring by canoe at sunset. This family evening paddle travels the quiet waters of Arcadia Marsh, where the Mill River meets the historic 1840 Oxbow.
Belted Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, muskrats, and beavers are all possible sightings as dusk approaches. An experienced guide will introduce basic paddling techniques and share stories about the animals and plants that call the forest and wetlands around you, their home.
