Description
Peeta the Ornate Box Turtle is hosting a special tea party, and you're invited! At this family program, kids will enjoy tea while learning about Peeta's habitat, diet, and adaptations. Then, we'll take her on an enrichment walk through Arcadia's field and forest, exploring together.
Along the way, you'll get to touch and study a variety of real turtle shells and make a turtle-themed craft to take home. We'll also explores how our everyday interactions with wildlife shape the local ecosystem, and what Peeta's journey to Arcadia can teach us about responsible wildlife stewardship.
