Description
Spring is the time when male American Woodcocks perform an amazing aerial courtship dance to attract a female. This spring ritual happens in fields just after sunset. Our program will begin indoors with a presentaion to learn about the American Woodcock, its displays, ecology, and conservation, followed by a walk to look and listen for woodcocks in the field. We'll start off at Arcadia and then we drive to Park Hill Orchard for our walk.
