Description
Vernal pools are unique wetland habitats, and home to many speies that are unable to live elsewhere. Several species of salamaders, frogs, and invertebrates can be found living in these temporary ponds. We will have a quick introuction followed by a visit to the Arcadia vernal pool looking for frog eggs, fairy shrimp, as well as other species.
