Wildwood Camp
Wildwood Camp Programs
Wildwood is Back for Summer 2026!
Located in southern New Hampshire, Wildwood is a one-of-a-kind camp for youth ages 9–17, where campers come together to discover the natural world; take a break from busy schedules and technology; and get outside to do what kids do best—have fun!
Overnight Camp
At Wildwood Camp’s one- and two-week sessions, campers ages 9-14 create connections with friends and learn how to respect and care for nature in a supportive community.
One-week sessions amp up the fun with special themes from Halloween in July to a Carnival to a color explosion party! Two-week sessions enjoy the adventure of an overnight camp out at campsites in the area. Overnights allow campers to experience and learn new things like setting up tents, tying knots, starting campfires, and more.
Overnight campers who stay at camp for more than one consecutive session or Teen Adventure Trip, may register for an Intersession to remain at camp between sessions.

Ages 9-14
Wildwood campers roast s’mores over open fires, sleep under the stars, sing silly songs, paddle around Hubbard Pond, and fall in love with nature each day. Campers have fun as they explore the outdoors, make friends, and develop self-confidence and leadership skills that last a lifetime. Campers are grouped in units by gender and age: Carson (girls, ages 9-10), Leopold (boys, ages 9-10), Fossey (girls, ages 11-12), or Thoreau (boys, ages 11-12), Dillard (all gender, ages 13-14), or Abbey (boys, ages 13-14). Teen Adventure Trips • ages 14-17 • Weekly, June 28–August 8
Wildwood Teen Adventure Trips immerse campers in the natural wonders of the Northeast’s most beautiful areas. Go kayaking in Maine, hike the Appalachian Trail, paddle along Lake Champlain, explore Cape Cod, and more. All trips focus on developing a love of the outdoors, and each trip takes a unique approach to welcome teens with a wide variety of interests and levels of outdoor experience. Groups are small and co-ed, with two leaders and 5-8 teens with no guarantee on the total number of participants. Participants practice outdoor living and develop a knowledge of the region's natural history. Although no prior experience in any of the activities is required, participants should be in good physical condition.

Counselors-in-Training • ages 16-17 • June 28–July 11, July 12-July 25, OR July 26-August 8 (2 week sessions)
The Counselors-in-Training (CIT) program helps teens develop leadership skills, learn how to work with children, and to share their love and knowledge of nature with younger campers. The summer starts with a week-long training program before moving into cabins with the campers. Daily meetings will give CITs a chance to build community, share experiences, develop job skills, and gain knowledge and experience to begin the transition from camper to counselor. CITs must be entering their senior year of high school in the fall.
CITs are invited to enroll and will be contacted to arrange an interview with someone on the Camp Leadership Team. The CIT cohort will be co-ed and we reserve the right to cancel the program if we do not receive adequate enrollment. Apply to be a CIT

Environmental Leadership Teens •June 28-July 18 OR July 19-August 8 (3 week sessions)
Learn about civic action and how to be an effective environmental advocate. During each session, develop leadership and community-building skills while learning about how to take action on environmental challenges. Find out how to best apply these community building and leadership skills to make a positive impact on your community and the world. ELTs are invited to enroll and will be contacted to arrange an interview with a member of the Camp Leadership Team. The ELT co-hort will be co-ed and we reserve the right to cancel the program if we do not receive adequate enrollment.
