Nature Escape: Camping & Community

This one-week program for ages 13–17 takes place at Wildwood Camp in Rindge, New Hampshire, and combines the best of overnight camp, adventure sports, and nature exploration. Campers will hike, paddle, and climb their way through New Hampshire's Monadnock region in a series of day trips and camp activities. Along the way, campers will meet with naturalists to learn firsthand about natural science and environmental stewardship. Culminating in an overnight camping trip, this camp is a great introduction to Teen Adventure Trips.

Session dates: June 23–28

Family Programs

Family Camp

Family Camp is fun for campers of all ages—from toddlers to grandparents! Wildwood has just what your family needs to enjoy some quality time together in a safe, quiet, and beautiful natural setting. Bring the whole family to explore nature, reconnect, and meet other outdoor-loving families. Each family stays in their own cabin, wooden tent, yurt, or platform tent, or you can bring your own tent.

A variety of fun activities include swimming, kayaking, nature crafts, hiking, ropes course challenges, birding, and campfire songs. There are ample opportunities to relax and enjoy time spent in nature, both together and in separate kid- or adult-only programs. All meals and daily snacks are included. Family Camp is a great way for parents to introduce future Wildwood campers to all the fun and excitement the outdoors has to offer.

Wildwood Family Getaways

Wildwood Family Getaways are the perfect opportunity for your family to relax and spend time in nature with less structure, using our property as a campground. We will provide families with a unit to sleep and hang out in.

Each unit includes a fire pit, outdoor sink, picnic table, benches, and portable toilet. Families bring bedding, personal items, and all cooking/cleaning gear. The waterfront is open daily for swimming and boating. Available weekends during May, September, and October.
