Counselors in Training (CITs) - Teens entering grade 12
The Counselors-in-Training (CIT) program helps teens develop leadership skills, learn how to work with children, and share their love and knowledge of nature with younger campers. The summer starts with a weeklong training program before moving into cabins with the campers. Daily meetings will give CITs a chance to build community, share experiences, develop job skills, and the knowledge and experience to begin the transition from camper to counselor.
CITs are selected by application and interview. Contact the Wildwood office at 866-627-2267 or [email protected] for more information.
Wildwood utilizes electronic submission of health forms through CampDoc.com. In March, an invitation will be sent from CampDoc to create a profile. Your log in ID will be the parent/guardian email address. Please notify the office of any changes. Forms need to be completed by May 1. The Camp Handbook with packing list can be found on our website, updated each spring.
The first half of the camp tuition is due at registration. The remaining half is due by May 1. The first $100 paid is non-refundable. Refunds are not given for participant dismissal, failure to attend, absence, or sick days. If the camp must cancel a session, you will receive a full refund. If you need to cancel on or before May 15, a refund of all but the $100 non-refundable deposit will be made. After May 15, no refund is available.
